Scientific Name - Malus sylvestris
Properties - Anti-bacterial, high-fiber, anti-carcinogen, lowers cholesterol
Common Uses - Eat fresh to relieve constipation or diarrhea. Also believed to reduce the
risk of heart disease and stroke and some forms of cancer. May help to stabilize
blood sugar in diabetics.

Locating & Handling - Purchase at grocery store, or orchard.
Caution - Wash with soap and water to remove any trace of pesticide. Never
eat apple seeds. They are highly poisonous.
